Hey, this is indeed a good choice of materials. But no, you can’t crack IIT JEE.

See, the thing is Cengage books are good and so are previous year papers. But you can’t crack IIT JEE Advance just by solving them once.
So, what should you do?
First complete what you were planning, i.e. Cengage Books and previous year papers one by one of each chapter.
Then you need to do that again.
And yes, again. You got it right… 3 times or even more.(I have read my notes and done modules 3–4 or even more times).
Even after that, give lot of tests. Test series of some good coaching would be best, as you also need to give tests when you have done like 2 chapters in each subject, then when you have done 4 chapters in each subject and so on. What I mean is you must not wait for your course to finish and then start giving tests.
Also try to manage some other question banks, like some question sheets from maybe your friend or from some website(I know some btw ;). These extra question would help you a lot, you’ll get used some more types of question.
Something really important - even when you are practicing Cengage exercises or the other questions, just try to solve them as quickly as you can.
This all is somewhat exhausting, but this is also really necessary if you want to get a good rank. If you do all this devotedly, you too will be here… In IIT Delhi.
